There are many ways to volunteer at My Sister's House, here are just a few:

  • Mentor a Young Woman
  • Teach a LIfe Skill [This could look like a one-time workshop, a once-a-month class or a weekly class] think consumer skills, health & wellness, self-esteem, cooking, etc.
  • Administrative Help
  • Respite for Resident Advisor
  • Provide Transportation
  • Help with maintenance or a one-time building project


Many hands make for lighter work!  Be a part of it!

My Sister's House RA position

Qualified candidates will be mature, be able to handle a variety of responsibilities, be flexible, have healthy boundaries and communication skills. A degree in Social Work or Psychology helpful, but not required.  This is a live-in position, a shared private apartment is furnished. Must be available some nights and weekends.
